Build confidence and have fun through the joy of music!
Whether learning for the pure enjoyment of it or to more seriously develop the voice or your piano skills, lessons with Eloise aim to be fun and inspire a joy for music, whilst developing your ability and confidence. You learn essential technique whilst expressing yourself through the music and words.
A professional opera singer, Eloise trained at the Dutch National Opera Academy in Amsterdam, and played piano from the age of 6, being awarded a scholarship from Hampshire Foundation for Young Musicians, achieving various competition successes and Grade 8 (ABRSM) by the age of 15.
Lessons are tailored to suit each individual’s ability and interests. Specialising in classical technique, but also exploring show tunes and musical theatre for singers, her approach maximises communication through the music. Eloise is experienced in teaching young children to start playing the piano, and is DBS checked.

Testimonials
‘The boys loved having you as a teacher and they improved greatly over the summer. But the most important thing for me is that they were looking forward to your classes which were full of encouragement, positiveness and enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to have you as their piano teacher and seeing the boys so happy about it.’
Silvia Alcantara, mother of two young piano pupils
‘After not having lessons for a couple of years, I was slightly apprehensive in getting back on track in order to perform at a relative's wedding. Not only that, but I had converted to Jazz singing 5 years prior and needed to re-learn Classical techniques. There was no need to worry though, as from day one I found Eloise to be a wonderful teacher who made me feel at ease and completely comfortable from the get-go.
Her style incorporates many visualising techniques which really help to reinforce her vocal instructions and she mixes up the exercises in order to keep attention and to make the lessons fun. Another fabulous quality Eloise has is that she listens to what you are hoping to gain from the lessons and constantly asks for feedback in order to construct the lessons accordingly.
I really enjoyed the lessons I had with Eloise and was most upset when she moved from central London as it's so hard to find such a friendly and knowledgeable teacher!
Highly recommended and the results from my wedding performance speak volumes.’
Louise Hadley, singing pupil
‘Eloise explained and demonstrated ways of improving my technique that were always helpful and effective. I came away from each lesson aware of how I could better control my voice, with noticeably more range and tone over a period that has been sustained.’
Sue Macdiarmid, singing pupil
